Below are the weather guidelines followed throughout the Plano ISD District and all District 6-6A's.

GAME SUSPENSION DUE TO LIGHTNING

After gathering information from weather services (Plano- Weather Sentry), trainers, and consultation with game officials, the home administrator is responsible for making the decision to stop a game due to lightning. The suspension of an athletic activity should occur when there is electrical activity within 10 miles. The resumption of athletic activity will not occur until 30 minutes AFTER the last strike was indicated.
