    The Employee Recruitment and Retention staff, principals and other administrators review applications as needed.  Administrators access applications to consider for available positions.  The administrator exercises his / her discretion in determining which applicants to contact and interview.  Applicants are welcome to send a letter of interest and resume via e-mail to the administrators or campuses for which they have an interest.

    Job applicants may take advantage of a computer kiosk located at the Plano ISD Administration Building, human resources department, to complete the required online application and receive staff assistance.

  • Criminal History Guidelines

    Every person who wishes to serve as a District employee, volunteer, camp counselor, private teacher or contractor, or any other person who will have contact with District students shall have a criminal history search performed. More information

    The 80th Texas Legislature passed Senate Bill 9 (SB 9), which mandated the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to acquire criminal history through fingerprint submission on: (1) all certified educators who are currently employed, (2) all substitutes and (3) non-certified employees hired after January 1, 2008. This process requires the individual to hold a state-issued driver's license or state-issued ID card.
