To enroll your child at Rice Middle School, please visit the Plano ISD Enrollment website.
You will receive an email confirmation, and our registrar will be in touch with you as soon as possible. 

Course offerings are available in the 2022-2023 Middle School Course Catalog. 
Please keep in mind that Rice Middle School may not offer all courses due to staffing and enrollment numbers.

Plano ISD’s Gifted and Talented Program is called PACE (Plano’s Academic Creative Education). The PACE curriculum is incorporated into the Social Studies curriculum. 

Students new to Plano have the opportunity to test in the fall, and current students who wish to join PACE have the opportunity to test in the spring. Applications for PACE can be found on the PISD PACE website. Please be mindful of the deadlines.

If you are new to PISD, and your student was in a GT program previously, please contact your grade level counselor for more information.

Please visit the Off-Campus Physical Education (OCPE) website for information. All questions must be answered by the OCPE Director.

Withdrawal requests should be submitted to our campus registrar, Monisha Pinkston. Please allow at least a week's notice.

Withdrawal Process:

1. Notify Rice MS Registrar, Monisha Pinkston, of your intention to withdraw your child. 
2. Teachers complete and sign the withdrawal form.
3. The student returns all school property.
4. All outstanding fees must be paid in full.
5. The student returns their Chromebook and charger on their last day at school.

Once the withdrawal form is completed, please return it to Monisha Pinkston.
