Reptiles and Creepy Crawlies

  • 40 Gallon "Breeder" Tank Minimum Size for: Adult Box Turtles, Bearded Dragons, 2 adult axolotls
  • 20 Gallon Long Tank Minimum size for: Multiple musk (water) turtles, 1 mid-size box turtle, Ball Python or Corn Snake, Leopard Gecko, 1 adult axolotl,
  • 10 Gallon Aquarium Minimum size for: Rose Hair Tarantula, 1 - 5 fire bellied toads, 1 - 2 hermit crabs, Single frog or toad of most varieties, 1 blue crawdad, several small fish (depending on type), 1 gold fish
  • Large Critter Keeper (and smaller sizes) Common sizing for snails, stick insects, roaches. Smaller sizes offered for crickets and mealworms.
  • Tortoise Table For adult box turtles; younger turtles may have a smaller enclosure

Mammals

  • Rabbits Rabbit(s) are available for short term checkouts only. Please see the recommended housing pictured above.

    The housing we provide includes, an x-pen, soft bedding, litter, hides, toys, and hay, hay, hay!
  • Midwest Enclosure Used for Guinea Pigs and Hedgehogs (when available)
  • 20 Gallon Long Preferred sizing for 2 mice (as supplies are available)
  • 10 Gallon Long Minimum size for 2 mice. Glass tanks are preferred in most situations for many of these small rodents to prevent chewing and escape

Birds

  • Dove Pair Dove pair cages don't necessarily come with a stand as pictured. This is just a rough idea of the size of the cage portion of their enclosure (the 31" x 20" portion of the picture above; cage may be shorter)
  • Parakeet Pair 20-Inch long, 20-inch wide and 29-inch with 5/8-inch wire spacing

    This is just a rough idea of the size of the cage, may be taller or wider and shorter.
  • Zebra Finch Cage about 30 x 18 x 18 inches; Finches require more horizontal space than height for flying around.

Non-Standard Sizes (Fish, Amphibians, and Reptiles)

  • 20 Gallon Tall Aquarium Provides more "height" for larger or more numerous fish; occasionally used for more arboreal reptiles or amphibians
