Mrs. Akolkar is beginning her 13th year of teaching and her 6th year at Renner. She especially loves welcoming 6th Grade students to Renner and helping with their transition to middle school. She is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, has written curriculum, and has taught various grade levels. This year, Mrs. Akolkar will be serving as the 6th Grade Math Team Leader. When not teaching, Mrs. Akolkar enjoys spending time outside, traveling, watching sports, playing tennis, cooking and reading. She loves raising her own three children - all attend school in Plano ISD. Teaching Math in a clear and easy to understand way, her students gain life-long skills and confidence to succeed.
