Infant Curriculum
The Employee Child Care Centers use infant curriculum by Frog Street Press. Caregivers devise lesson plans for infants based on the child's age and that incorporate four fundamental areas of learning.
The activities support growth and learning in the areas of language development, physical development, social and emotional development and cognitive development. Books, toys, music and photo cards are used intentionallly to foster strong connections and enhance social interactions.
Time spent outdoors occurs twice each day. Children ride in strollers and have opportunities to explore the outside environment as weather permits.

Belongings
Please label all belongings with first and last name. Plan on bringing the following items and replenish as needed: diapers, rash cream (optional), ten bibs, five burp cloths, three or four changes of clothing, and two footed pajamas. Per state licensing, sleep sacks are not permitted.
The item, once used or soiled, will be placed in a plastic bag to be taken home and washed.
Bottles
State licensing requires all bottles to be labeled with the child's first and last name and the date. The parent/guardian is also required to provide a written feeding schedule that is signed and dated.
- Breast milk that is to be given that day must be brought in a bottle and not frozen in a bag.
- Extra feedings of breast milk may be brought in a bag frozen.
- Formula must be provided by the parent and pre-measured in a divided container.
- A bottle containing water for the formula must be pre-measured by the parent.
- Caregivers may only add the pre-measured formula to the pre-measured water and mix for preparation.
