Milieu intérieur (mil-yoo an-tair-ee-URR), is a concept developed by a French physiologist to describe the body's stable internal environment. This is not a passive concept, just as living is not a passive experience. Homeostasis asks for many active parts to keep the balance of the body while enduring the challenges of life.

Hi. I’m returning for my third year at Plano East to continue teaching Anatomy & Physiology. I marvel at the form and function of the human body, and I enjoy learning new ways to understand it and share its wonder!

As depicted in the image, I venture through the cracks in life with my wife, Sarah, to find smiles on our faces.

Compassionate care is my nature and practicing instructional strategies is my new passion. Above all, I admire personal integrity, work ethic, and resiliency. However, the value of service is better shown than told. So, "Welcome. Please, come inside."

Goal: make an impact on developing students to help us thrive.

Class motto: Relationships overcome rigor.

Teaching & Learning philosophy: "I will... because I believe in a Name greater than my own."
