Dr. Maricela Burns
I am originally from Brownsville, Texas, home of Starbase. I have been teaching for 13 years, ranging from 6th-8th grades. This will be my first year with the younger kiddos and I am excited for this new journey! I am a US Navy Veteran and have traveled to Hong Kong, China; Singapore; Bahrain; Perth and Hobart, Australia, Victoria, Canada, and Oahu, Hawaii to name a few. I enjoy hanging out with family and reading during my spare time.
