Thank you for visiting the Employee Child Care Center I’s webpage! I am happy that you are here and hope that you find all of our pages helpful. The Employee Child Care Center I opened its doors in August 2008 and continues to provide a service to PISD employees, ensuring exceptional care of their children!  

We follow a play-based curriculum and have social emotional learning integrated into our program as well.

My journey in Plano ISD began working for the PASAR program for about 12 years and then transitioned to the Employee Child Care Center II as a lead caregiver in the three-year-old room. On day one as a lead caregiver, I quickly realized that early childhood education was my element! Ensuring that little ones are in a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment all while helping to build a foundation for a love of learning is a top priority for me. Knowing that eventually children of the center will move on into the world with a sense of confidence and social emotional skills to take on everyday life and challenges is essential. This is my tenth year with Employee Child Care Centers and my first year as the Site Manager of ECCC I. I hope to continue to build a community that feels much like a family, a school family as we like to call it! I look forward to building great relationships with parents, children and staff.  I wish to inspire caregivers to work diligently and make a positive impact in the lives of the families we serve.

I grew up in McKinney, Texas, where I still live today with my husband and our boys! I am a total boy mom with three sons, Austin, 14, Joaquin, 12, and Diego, 7. I love spending time with my family, watching my boys play sports, taking walks, shopping, or just spending time outdoors.  I love singing out loud, even though my singing voice can break windows! Most of all, I just love living life day by day and to the fullest!
