Plano ISD Superintendent Dr. Theresa Williams was recently recognized alongside Richardson ISD Superintendent Tabitha Branum with the 2025 Richardson Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Award. This prestigious honor acknowledges their exceptional leadership and perseverance in guiding their districts through significant challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath.

Outgoing Chairman Randy Ford praised Dr. Williams and Superintendent Branum for their dedication to ensuring students continued to receive quality education despite unprecedented obstacles. Their roles have been particularly demanding, involving not only managing educational challenges but also addressing community concerns and legislative mandates.
