Non-School Day Care

PASAR, the Plano ISD elementary after-school care program, offers Non-School Day Care from 7:30am until 5:30pm on specified days when school is not in session. During Non-School Day Care, opportunities are given for students to engage with their friends, play and have fun! Students will participate in structured recreational activities, fine art activities and structured and non-structured play activities to enhance their overall skill development.

A minimum of 22 students is required for Non-School Day Care to be offered at the sites. If Non-School Day Care has to be canceled due to low enrollment numbers, parents will be notified by a phone call from a PASAR Zone Leader.

Student(s) must currently be enrolled in PASAR to attend Non-School Day Care.

Students must bring two snacks and a sack lunch that does not require refrigeration or warming, as well as a water bottle labeled with the student's first and last name. PASAR is a “nut-free” zone. Lunches and snacks containing nuts and nut by-products will not be served. Healthy, nutritionally-balanced lunches are encouraged. Please do not send candy, gum, soda, etc.

Please read each statement below carefully.

1. Non-School Day Care is optional, and tuition is in addition to the Consistent Plan.

The PASAR Non-School Day Care Fees are as follows:

Standard Non-School Day Daily Rate: $58 Per Day/Per Student (1 day = $58, 2 days = $116)

Employee Non-School Day Daily Rate: $46 Per Day/Per Student (1 day = $46, 2 days = $92)

Discounted Non-School Day Daily Rate: $46 Per Day/Per Student (1 day = $46, 2 days = $92)

2. Payment of Non-School Day Care fees is required prior to the Non-School Day Care. Once the Non-School Day Care contract is accepted and approved, the customers will receive an email that the contract has been approved, and the student is signed up for Non-School Day Care.

3. To withdraw/cancel PASAR Non-School Day Care, I understand I must email pasar@pisd.edu by the appropriate deadline listed on the PASAR website. If I do not cancel by the deadline, I am financially responsible for all Non-School Day Care charges, regardless if my student does or does not attend PASAR Non-School Day Care.

4. A $30 late pick-up fee is charged for each student picked up 1 - 10 minutes past 6 PM Monday-Fridays, including PASAR Non-School Day Care. The fee is charged for each student picked up late, not one late pickup fee per family. A fee of $1 is charged for each minute past the first 10 minutes for each student until the students are picked up.

5. I understand the PASAR Finance Office’s primary method of contacting customers is by the email address provided by each customer, and it is my responsibility to ensure my contact information is up-to-date. If I want to be contacted by a way other than email, I must notify the PASAR Finance Office in writing and provide the contact information.
No multi-student discount is offered for any PASAR Non-School Day Care.

The PASAR Non-School Day Care Fees are as follows:
- Standard Daily Rate: $58 Per Student/Per Day
- Employee Daily Rate: $46 Per Student/Per Day
- Discounted Daily Rate: $46 Per Student/Per Day

Payment for Non-School Day Care is due prior to the care date(s). Non-school day fees are per student/per day. To withdraw/cancel the Non-School Day care, you must email the PASAR Finance Office at pasar@pisd.edu by the cancelation deadline. If care is not canceled by the deadline, the customer is responsible for all Non-School Day care charges, regardless if the student(s) attends or not.
